Yamazakura Asaka Peti Verd Wine Cask Reserve Single Malt Whisky has been first distilled in first-fill bourbon barrel for 2 years from January 2019 (Cask No: 21249), then put into Petit Verd cask which is from Aril winery in NAPA valley, USA for an additional 2.5 years until November 2021. It was finally bottled in October 2024.
This is a Genshu Ji-Whisky, usually available for local market only, with limited release of only 96 bottle. Please enjoy the unique flavor of this single malt whisky for 2 hours after drinking.

This Asaka Cabernet Sauvignon Cask Reserve Single Malt Japanese Whisky (Batch 1） was distilled in January 2019 (Cask No:21247) and bottled in October 2024. A very unique release having been first matured for 2 years in first-fill Bourbon barrels before undergoing an additional 2.5 years of aging in second fill Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks from Napa Valley, a renowned Californian wine region.
This unique whisky is non-chill filtered, of natural color, and possesses a complex, layered profile. It is a "Ji-whisky" (where "Ji" means "local")—a style akin to micro-distilling, often available only in the local. This genshu (undiluted) whisky is a limited release of only 288 bottles.

"Artist Edition #004", draws inspiration from “Metal (Gon)” and KANOSUKE's signature three pot stills to create a complex vatting of diverse unpeated spirits. At its core lies a lush, fruity spirit from Kanosuke's Spirits Still 2 (SS2), elevated by the rare depth of triple-distilled bourbon barrel spirit. The journey culminates in a unique finish within Islay casks, matured under the Kagoshima sun in Hioki. This fusion evokes a layered, lingering finish—a dialogue between the sea breezes of Islay and Hioki.
The "Artist Edition" series is inspired by the "Five Elements Theory" (wood, fire, earth, metal, water), a concept deeply rooted in Japanese culture. Various artists have been invited in the past to create original labels based on these five elements.
The beautiful brush gold label is designed by Japanese artist Keiko Yuasa, whose delicate brushwork captures the serene essence of "Metal (Gon)."
