The Càirdeas expression for 2022 was created especially for Friends of Laphroaig. This limited edition single malt whisky was aged in first-fill Maker’s Mark Bourbon barrels and the classic Laphroaig flavours are elevated further with a distinctive coastal character reminding one of sea spray and storms. Warehouse 1’s rare four-storey construction, fluctuating temperature, and exposure to rugged conditions bring out enigmatic flavours and a maritime quality. Càirdeas 2022 is bottled at a strength of 52.2%. ("Producer's Notes)

Rated 86 Points by Whiskyfun. "Comments from Whiskyfun: simple, probably quite young and certainly humble. But at the same time this is excellent core distillate that still possesses quite a definite distillery character. The kind of juice you could easily guzzle on a summer evening on Islay, while simultaneously applying it to your bare skin in an attempt to fend off the midgies."

A 2012 Special Release of Laphroaig Single Malt Whisky 18 Years Old to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth. 3000 Bottles were released with the special designed Tube.

A very creamy and a complex palette of flavors the 18 Year Old is an excellently balanced whisky which has since ceased production in 2016.

This unique expression from Laphroaig combines the 10 Year Old Laphroaig matured in ex-Bourbon barrels with a further finishing ex- Oloroso Sherry Casks delivering a full bodied character of sweet aromatic flavours along with Manuka Honey, maple syrup, cloves, grilled bacon and peat smoke.
