This exquisite single malt is the result of meticulous craftsmanship, combining unpeated and peated spirits that have been matured for a minimum of twenty-one years in a harmonious blend of Four different casks: bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks, and Bordeaux red wine casks. Throughout its long maturation process at Benriach, the sweet Speyside smoke gradually mellows and intertwines with the fruity, malty, and oaky notes. After twenty-one years, a rich complexity emerges, culminating in an elegant honeyed smoke, enriched by the multi-layered cask maturation. Each cask type contributes unique flavor characteristics, expertly married together to produce a single malt of unrivaled richness and elegance. Layers of lush orchard fruit and toasted pine wood lead to a honey smoke finish, all perfectly balanced.
